I really admire your relationship. I'm a girl who has always admired this guy, but although there's no problem, I feel as if he will not like me because I'm black. I know that you're in an interracial relationship, and I think it's absolutely beautiful. I feel as though he would look past me, or just not give me a chance, but I find him absolutely beautiful and talented. It's a shame, being afraid of his openness to me not being there. Was that a problem for you? This is eating me alive.
I definitely understand the feeling. I, personally waited until my boyfriend came to me because I feel like oftentimes a good friendship can be mistaken for something else so i didn’t want to embarrass myself. I truly believe if a guy likes you, he will tell you or show you, even if it takes forever (trust me, guys get just as nervous haha) and remember because i get this A LOT…there is NO secret to getting a white man to like you. Be yourself, just like men of other races, every white guy is different and like different types of women.
