Ive gotten a few of the same questions in my ask box, so im going to answer them now.
1. Are you a male or female?
Female.
2. Are you black?
Yep!
3. Where are you from?
Im southern. (texas born and raised)
4. Are you in an interracial relationship?
Not currently.
5. Have you always been attracted to white men?
Yeah. My first crush was matthew in pre-k. Even named my puppy Matt after him. haha
6. How does your family/friends react to this?
My grandmother is bi-racial, my aunt is married to a Caucasian guy. All of the other grandchildren in my family that are older than me have married outside of their race. We often joke about how we literally look like a we are the world commercial. haha. I am lucky to have such a tolerant family, especially in the south. My friends, such as my sorority sisters are not as tolerant. They joke about me loving “white boys” all the time, and dont understand why i do. But it doesn’t bother me.
7. Are you attracted to black men at all?
Yes! My preference is white men, however, if idris elba walked in my apartment right now, i would lose it. I just happen to find white men more attractive.
8. Have you ever been in an interracial relationship?
Yes. Its rare, but one of my frat brothers was white. We met at a greek outing and instantly fell for each other. It was my first and only interracial relationship. It was mostly long distance, but its the most loved and the closest Ive ever felt to a man. :)

When I was in an interracial relationship with a white guy, nothing was about race to me. I fell in love with the man first and his race was second. I was worried that he wouldn't like me because I was black, but I just took it as an opportunity to show off my amazing personality and be more outgoing than I normally am. He didn't care about my race and he thought I was beautiful. When trying to date interracially, you have to learn to let go of the ones that seem bothered by skin tone.
